For recessed or overhanging facades, sloped roofs, and the inside of glazed atria, monorail systems are frequently the best practical solutions. Monorails closely follow the facade, with platforms suspended from trolleys to access various points of a structure.

Tractel’s unique Railscaf® monorail is designed to closely follow the roof line and suspend platforms from manual or powered trolleys to access the various points of the facade. The platform is transported at ground level from one run of monorail to the next.

Railscaf® can be installed along an incline, providing access to facades below pitched roofs.

Modern architecture can even defy the ingenious design of standard TRACTEL® machines. Our technology and know-how adapt very well to non-standard solutions. Nevertheless, the earlier the access problem is addressed, the less complicated and expensive the solution will be.
